Prior to joining NSE, he was the Managing Director & CEO of IDFC Limited, a diversified financial services conglomerate. He started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai in 1987 while pursuing his Chartered Accountancy and worked in the audit and business advisory services groups of Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and the consumer banking group of Citibank before going to the US in 1994 to pursue a MBA. After completing his MBA, he worked on Wall Street in USA for 8 years with Credit Suisse First Boston in a variety of roles in investment banking, capital markets, structured finance and credit portfolio management before returning to Mumbai, India in 2004. He has contributed to various committees of government and industry associations on a range of topics surrounding infrastructure, economic policy, markets, trade, minority affairs etc. He has been a speaker at various domestic and international conferences and has been part of international government delegations for infrastructure and foreign direct investments into India. He has also been on the boards of various corporates, educational institutions and not for profit organisations. He completed his Bachelors in Commerce from HR College of Commerce & Economics, Chartered Accountancy and a MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Sandeep Murthy is Partner at Lightbox. Sandeep moved to Mumbai in 2005 to lead Sherpalo Ventures in India. As a Partner with Sherpalo he has been a part of three Indian technology unicorns ($1 billion value companies – InfoEdge, InMobi and Shopclues). He did his undergrad in both business and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He dove into investment banking, by moving out to Palo Alto, California to join CSFB Technology Group. Sandeep then teamed up with a friend to build a digital music company that was incubated by Sony Music, and ended up selling the company to Sony after the Internet bubble burst. Later, after completing his MBA from Wharton, he moved to New York City to join InterActive Corp (IAC) – the owners of Expedia, TicketMaster, Home Shopping Network and other consumer technology businesses. While at IAC he helped launched Gifts.com and started to explore the India technology opportunity.

Rehan Yar Khan is Managing Partner of Orios Venture Partners, a seed stage consumer venture capital firm currently investing from its Fund II.
