Prof. K. Srinath Reddy is presently President, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and formerly headed the Department of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He was appointed as the First Bernard Lown Visiting Professor of Cardiovascular Health at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2009. He is also an Adjunct Professor of the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University and Honorary Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. PHFI is engaged in capacity building in Public Health in India through education, training, research, policy development, health communication and advocacy. In March 2017, he was also appointed as Advisor on Health to the Government of Odisha, with the rank of a Cabinet Minister. He has served on many WHO expert panels and has been the President of the World Heart Federation (2013-14).

Prior to joining the Ministry of Road transport and Highways, he was Director of Central Institute of Road Transport, in Pune, dealing with Road Transport policies and automobile testing. As Joint Secretary with the Government he has actively led the Policy and Regulation for Automobiles and Road Safety. He is the architect of the reformative legal amendment brought out by the Indian Government in the Road Safety law. The amendment has been unanimously passed by the lower house of the Parliament and is pending with the upper house now. The amendment will provide much needed teeth to the enforcement agencies, recognize good Samaritans and promote use of automation and IT for all areas relating to automobiles and transport. Mr Damle has successfully changed the face of Indian automobile Industry by bringing the global best practices for safety; be it environment or road safety. He is responsible for mandating Euro –VI emission norms four ahead of schedule, Crash standards for automobiles, Safety features for cars, two wheelers and heavy vehicles. Presently he is also involved in framing India’s Electric Vehicles Poilicies.

Sandeep Murthy is Partner at Lightbox. Sandeep moved to Mumbai in 2005 to lead Sherpalo Ventures in India. As a Partner with Sherpalo he has been a part of three Indian technology unicorns ($1 billion value companies – InfoEdge, InMobi and Shopclues). He did his undergrad in both business and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He dove into investment banking, by moving out to Palo Alto, California to join CSFB Technology Group. Sandeep then teamed up with a friend to build a digital music company that was incubated by Sony Music, and ended up selling the company to Sony after the Internet bubble burst. Later, after completing his MBA from Wharton, he moved to New York City to join InterActive Corp (IAC) – the owners of Expedia, TicketMaster, Home Shopping Network and other consumer technology businesses. While at IAC he helped launched Gifts.com and started to explore the India technology opportunity.
